The yoga of the subtle body is an online course in mindfulness recorded by Katherine Eggers E-RYT 200.
Harness the power of your subtle body to relieve chronic pain, sleeplessness, poor digestion, and fatigue. Improve motivation, creativity, focus and flexibility. Develop body awareness and deepen your ability to know what's right for you. Reclaim your personal power, break old patterns, and create new ones that support a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Using techniques from Kripalu yoga, Thomas Hanna Somatics and Qigong, this series gives students both an intellectual understanding of concepts as well as experiential education in the subtle body. This practice is excellent for those working with chronic pain, healing injury or processing grief. It’s also a great way to begin or deepen a mindfulness practice.
Each session includes a short 15 minute lecture followed by 30 - 40 minutes of gentle movement, pranayama (breath work) or meditation.
Each session includes hand-outs summarizing the session. Diagrams and photos are included where neccessary to help to visualize more complex exercises and concepts.
